KEMABONG: Eighteen students and three teachers from the UK are pleased that relics connected to the Rundum rebellion circa 1905-15 are still being looked after.
They were part of the British Route tour to Rundum Highlands on July 25, the first tourists from the UK to explore Rundum.

The students, accompanied by three teachers, visited the historical site of the British heritage Rundum Rebellion associated with the resistance of the Murut Ontotos Warriors @ Antenom Buyusan.
According to Rundum Highlands Tourism Chairman Rusili Tampisan, they not only learned about the resistance to chartered company rule back then, but also helped the community to clear the road to the former British office site in Rundum.
