SIPITANG: Several houses in Kampung Seri Menanti are having difficulty crossing after their bridge collapsed from dilapidation.
Former Community Development Leader Unit Sindumin Sani Miasin said half of the bridge had collapsed because part of it was worn out.
ADVERTISEMENT They had to wade through watery areas before crossing the road and this had made it difficult for them because they must take off their shoes every time they cross, including schoolchildren.
“Moreover, when shopping to buy food, they have to walk in an area full of water.
“It makes it even more difficult for the elderly,” he said.
Appropriately, the Village Community Development Committee (JPKK) should submit an application to UPPM or the people’s representative.
