Kota Kinabalu: A fruits vendor at a night market here has become a viral sensation among Korean tourists for his surprising language skills.
Dubbed "Mango Boy", the vendor has garnered attention on social media platform TikTok for his fluency in the language.
ADVERTISEMENT In a TikTok post by user @tangyeong, the vendor is seen speaking Korean.
“Hello, mangoes [here] are so good,” he enthusiastically says before breaking into the lyrics of a popular Korean song.
The post was accompanied by hashtags in Korean that can be translated into #MangoBoy and #KotaKinabalu, among others.
The vendor’s talent and warm hospitality have made him popular among Korean visitors and even Korean travel pages like Travelholic Korea have featured him in their content.

On TikTok, Mango Boy’s fame continues to grow with his own hashtag used by different users to share their encounters with him.
