Kota Kinabalu: A fire broke out in a kitchen on the third floor of Block D at KK Times Square, here, Thursday.

Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Station operations commander Adanan Sapawi said they were alerted to the incident at 5.32pm and their team of 24 members arrived at 5:37pm.

He said the firefighting operation involved multiple vehicles and equipment, including two fire trucks, one water tanker, three rapid intervention machines, one emergency medical rescue services vehicle and one pickup truck. 

“...no casualties have been reported so far,” he said.
