More than 100 compete at Malaysian Medical Association Sabah Sarawak Games
The medical doctors who participated in the MMA Games.
Kota Kinabalu: More than 100 participants from both Sabah and Sarawak members of the Malaysian Medical Association (MMA) competed in the MMA Sabah Sarawak Games 2024, held here on August 17.

Organising chairman Dr. Cedric Wee said it was resounding success, marking another milestone in fostering camaraderie and sportsmanship among medical doctors from Sabah and Sarawak.

They participated in a series of spirited sports competitions held across various venues in the State featuring five sports: futsal, table tennis, volleyball, badminton and basketball. 

The events showcased not only the athletic prowess of the participants but also their dedication to teamwork and healthy competition.

“It is heartening to see such a high level of sportsmanship and camaraderie, and I am confident that this spirit will continue to thrive in future editions of the games,” said Dr Cedric.

The MMA Sabah Sarawak Games has been in existence for 15 years, becoming a much-anticipated occasion that not only highlighted the athletic talents within the medical community but also strengthening their ties. 

Members were encouraged to continue to uphold the values of sportsmanship and unity while looking forward to future editions of the MMA Sabah Sarawak Games.
