Kota Kinabalu: City Hall (DBKK) is advised to build more marine life replicas around the city.

Sabah Fisheries and Fishermen Development Corporation (Ko-Nelayan) Chairman Kong Soon Choi said the construction of marine life replicas are not limited to be carved-out replicas but also through mural paintings at suitable locations.

“Visitors from home and abroad are amazed by the wealth of marine resources in Sabah. They also come here to enjoy fresh seafood.

“Therefore, in order to attract more tourists, DBKK can think of suitable areas to build replicas such as fish, prawns, crabs or other marine resources that are unique to attract tourists,” he said.
