Kota Kinabalu: A woman died after being hit by a vehicle while crossing the road at Jalan Lok Kawi, Putatan, Friday, it has been reported. 

This victim, in her 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene due to severe injuries, Info X reported.  

It is understood that the vehicle that struck the victim had fled the scene.
