SANDAKAN: Parti Impian Sabah (PIS) vehemently denied allegations by a politician on Tik Tok that it is funded by a former Chief Minister.
East Coast Zone 5 PIS Coordinator, Jeffery Chung, said the allegations are baseless.
He also said PIS is not a rebranded party or sponsored by several parties but an original.
“PIS was also not founded by a former chief minister as claimed,” he said, adding politicians should be wise in choosing their words and not spread slanderous and fraudulent speech.
“Don’t just because we want to gain attention and attract voters, we bring others down with untrue claims.
“PIS was established by a local son, Michel Alok, and the division heads appointed for each area are new faces who have never held positions in any other party,” he said.
Jeffrey said PIS also holds the principle of rejecting corruption and is committed to bringing a new ideology and returning to the true political foundations.
