YUM, an agency under the Sabah Ministry of Finance, has been operating well for 35 years and has never experienced a problem that required help from outside parties, until this crisis arose, they claimed.
Kota Kinabalu: A total of 212 employees of Yayasan Usaha Maju (YUM) are urging the relevant authorities to intervene and help resolve the agency’s internal crisis.
They did not elaborate except that not to do so would paralyse the entire management and operational machinery of YUM.

Their target is a senior official of YUM, over his alleged inability to manage YUM.

“Until 15 August 2024, the list of signatories is 812 people and is expected to increase,” a statement said Sunday.
“After existing for 35 years, we feel that the policy of making YUM profit from the poor is unwise, not to mention that YUM is a government machine that should help them,” said a source.
