KUALA PENYU: The Department of Industrial Development and Research (DIDR) is promoting fish-based business through keropok lekor (fish cracker) course, citing the abundance of raw materials and market demand.
Its Director Rodolfo Blantocas said this during the closing ceremony of a two-day Fish Crackers Course held at Papalu Vila in Kampung Palu-palu on Sunday.

He said that food-based courses like this could help participants increase their income and strengthen their economic standing.
“There’s significant demand from foreign countries, particularly Singapore and China, for crackers produced in Sabah,” he said.
