Kota Kinabalu: Yayasan Sabah Group’s rangers, guides and porters are now equipped with enhanced skills and knowledge, including guest handling and basic English conversation, to provide more effective service to the public.
Recently, a group of Yayasan Sabah rangers, guides, porters, housekeepers, receptionists and drivers attended a four-day training programme held at Imbak Canyon and Maliau Basin Conservation Area.
The training was conducted by two officers from Yayasan Sabah’s Conservation and Environmental Management Division (CEMD), Deidre Julius Kulip and Jennysia Cynthia Josue.
Deidre said the hands-on training aimed to improve the rangers’, guides’ and porters’ skills in effectively engaging with visitors.
