PENAMPANG: Parti Kerjasama Anak Negeri (PAN) Coordinator for the west coast, Dr Edwin Bosi, said the plight of last June’s devastating flood victims is yet to be fully addressed.
He claimed meeting numerous victims who echoed a common narrative of broken promises.
Edward, himself directly impacted by the flood, said the Government urged victims to register for financial assistance of RM1,000 per household, but nothing has materialised to date.
“We were told to register at Dewan Kebudayaan Penampang, but we were left empty-handed,” said another victim, Debra.
