Perodua Viva damaged by fallen tree in Lahad Datu

LAHAD DATU: A Perodua Viva parked at Jalan Keramat, here, was damaged after a tree fell on it on Thursday.

Lahad Datu Civil Defence Force (APM) Officer, Captain (PA) Mohd Mahirun Sanaharin said they received a call following the incident at 10am via MERS999.

A team of APM personnel rushed to the scene and upon arrival, the team met the complainant who informed them that her vehicle was crushed by a fallen tree.

“The team proceeded to cut the fallen tree with a chainsaw before clearing the road.

“Two victims were reported safe in the incident,” he said, adding that the team wrapped up the operation at 11am.
