Kota Kinabalu: The spirit of unity and patriotism was on full display as thousands gathered for Sabah's National Day Celebration parade on Saturday.
The event, held along Jalan Tun Fuad Stephens, drew crowds from across generations, turning the city's major avenue into a sea of cheerful faces and national colours.

Leading the celebrations were Head of State Tun Juhar Mahiruddin and Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
Early risers began claiming their spots as early as 3am, eager to secure prime viewing positions for the much awaited parade.
