RANAU: The Ranau Division Umno Youth Movement successfully held the 2024 Ranau Division Umno Youth Leader’s Cup 7-a-side Football Tournament from August 31 to September 1.
The two-day tournament saw the Kilimu A team crowned as the champions, while Sinar Villa took the runners-up spot.

Third place went to Bonama FC with Gayadan FC in fourth.
The programme officiated by the Head of Umno Youth Ranau Division Md. Nadzmin Kamin was also attended by Sabah State Umno Youth Information Chief Mahat Jumahat.
The tournament was participated by 31 teams from all over the Ranau district.
A total of 800 people including visitors attended the programme on the basis of supporting the youth’s interest in football in this district.

This programme is the result of collaboration between Umno Ranau Division Youth and Kilimu Vet, with the main goal of raising the dignity of football at the district level, and strengthening friendships among the community.
According to Md. Nadzmin during his opening speech, the programme was also held to highlight and raise young talents who love football in Ranau.
