KINABATANGAN: A 45-year-old who went missing on Sunday after falling off a cargo vessel while crossing a river in an estate here was found drowned on Tuesday.
The body of Antonius Permisi, an Indonesian national, was discovered by Fire and Rescue Department personnel around 10.30am after a three-hour search operation.

Sabah Fire and Rescue Department operations centre officer, Assistant Supt Riki Mohan Singh Ramday, said Antonius was found about 100 metres from where he fell.
“The victim's body was retrieved and handed over to the police for further action,” he said, adding the operation team then conducted further checks to ensure there were no other hazards before terminating the operation at 11am.
