KUALA PENYU: Residents here are worried about the erosion of their beaches, starting from Palu-palu Beach to Tg Purun Beach, which is becoming increasingly worse.
Kampung Palu-Palu Village Development and Security Committee Chairman Ramzeini@Awang Safarali Ramli, told Daily Express here on Monday that the situation has caused many trees to fall.
“The beach is very important as it facilitates people’s recreational activities every morning and evening, being the only beautiful and most scenic beach here.
“It’s a camping site for the public, including children who conduct their activities, but its damaged condition due to fallen trees has caused people to avoid the area,” he said.
