BELURAN: The Department of Trade Union Affairs Malaysia (JHEKS) not only plays a role in administrative and management affairs but also contributes back to society through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programmes.

Sabah’s Assistant Minister of Rural Development, Datuk Samad Jambri, said that organising these CSR programmes is a continuous pillar of the government to understand and assist the needs of local communities through beneficial programmes.

“I’d like to state here that it’s a necessity for the Sabah Government, Federal Government, and trade unions to continue moving together to achieve the definition of Malaysia Madani, which is always close to society at all levels.

“Today we can see the government’s commitment in ensuring the well-being of communities in rural areas.
