Kota Kinabalu: The upcoming 46th annual Shareda Nite has engaged an exclusive collaboration with Robb Report, an international distinguished lifestyle magazine, to feature the yearly event in its publication.
Its Organising Chairperson Seth Quek Teck Seng described it as a small breakthrough for the main committee.

“A lot of people thought Robb Report is a report, but it is not. It is actually a lifestyle magazine that is prestigious like Tatler.
“But we are working with its office in Malaysia, Robb Report Malaysia that has more male audience centric and also one of the reasons why they agreed to come and explore the Sabah market.
“The magazine will feature Shareda Nite 2024 at Magellan in its September publication,” he said.

The intention, he said is to feature successful stories of the 11 winners to be shared with the whole Malaysians and not only the Sabahans, including to prove to the Malaysians in the Semenanjung and Sarawak, that Sabah is also capable and success in property industry.
Meanwhile Sabah Housing and Real Estate Developers Association (Shareda) President Datuk Sr Chua Soon Ping said Robb Report Malaysia is mostly circulated among top Chief Executive Officers (CEOs) and those publicly-listed CEOs including the influential CEOs in Malaysia.
He said Shareda wants regional township developers in Sabah to be exposed in the mainstream market whereby among the 11 winners, two from Tawau, one from Semporna, two from Sandakan, two from Kota Kinabalu and one in the West Coast area.
“We do not want to neglect those people (developers) that develop their projects contributing a lot in terms of ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) aspects and in terms of sustainability and green that are very sustainable.
“It’s just that they (developers from other districts) and their projects are not recognised.
“In all this, we are actually giving them a chance to be among the winners of the prestigious Shareda Excellence Awards 2024 so that they can be recognised in the whole Malaysia, and not just in Sabah,” Chua said.
On the 11 awards, Seth said there are three platinum awards namely Most Valuable Developer of the Year Award 2024, Top Developer of the Year Award 2024 and Top Property Man of the Year Award 2024.
While for seven gold awards, he said are Rural Urbanisation Excellence Award, Luxury Waterfront Condominium Excellence Award, Township Masterplan and Development Excellence Award, Integrated Development Excellence Award, Lifestyle Hub Excellence Award, Luxury Resort Masterplan Excellence Award, Excellence in Value Innovation Landed Property Development Award and Excellence in Value Innovation Consumer-centric Commercial Development Award.
