TUARAN: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS)-Pakatan Harapan (PH) Plus government is fair to all quarters in the State, including the opposition.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said that although he and his government have faced various criticisms and slanders, he remains committed to fairness.
ADVERTISEMENT He explained that, based on this principle, he strives to treat everyone fairly, regardless of their political, racial, or religious background.
He disclosed that he personally approved a scholarship application from an opposition leader who had requested one for their child, demonstrating his concern for the children of Sabah.
"Even Azis Jaman (Warisan Information Chief Datuk Mohd Azis Jaman) had his child's scholarship application approved by me.
"I was impartial when he and his wife came to meet me in the office. Out of my concern, I felt the child must be helped, so we approved the scholarship. I never consider just my party members but everyone.

"Other opposition leaders' children have also received assistance, and we have provided it. I could not ignore them.
"We do not seek revenge, nor do we pressure anyone even though we are the government," he said while officiating the Sulaman Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) annual meeting at the Seri Sulaman Hall, here, Sunday.
