Kota Kinabalu: It is ‘first pay, first serve’ for the participants of 2024 Kuala Penyu Golf & Country Club (KPGCC) Invitational Golf Tournament to be held at Sabah Golf and Country Club here on September 28.
This is due to over-response with more than the 120 targeted entries received to date although the closing date is only on September 25.
ADVERTISEMENT KPGCC deputy president Drs Moneh Epin said 136 players have registered so far and only those who pay early will make the list.
“I had a discussion with the organizing committee chaired by Yussof Imbang yesterday (Thursday) and they all agreed,” he said in a statement.
The tournament offers more than RM20,000 worth of prizes including 50 lucky draws, and the main prize is a motorcycle for the ‘Hole in One’ winner.
Moneh said the motorcycle will be up for grabs as a lucky draw prize if there is no winner in the “Hole in One’.
