SIPITANG: The roads in Kampung Kelangsat faced safety issue due to the lack of visible lane markings, making it challenging for drivers to judge whether it is safe to overtake.
Former Community Leadership Development Unit officer for Sindumin, Abdul Sani Miasin, highlighted to Daily Express the road, can cause road complication and urged the Government to address the situation urgently.
He said road user’s safety and comfort must be ensured, especially on busy roads and authorities should take action, particularly if vehicles attempt to overtake in areas where lane markings are no longer visible.
“The markings are only visible in certain areas and are intermittent. If a vehicle frequently overtakes on this road and another car is ahead, it is highly likely that an accident will occur.
