PENAMPANG: Sabah Progressive Party (SAPP) women’s wing rallied to help a family facing challenges, including a mother battling cancer and had given birth to twins over a year ago.
“Apart from having to care for her newborns, this mother who was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year, also has to focus on caring for her twin sons, who are just a year old,” she said.
Luyang SAPP women’s chief Veronica Chin said the husband helps out as much as he can, trying to find extra income for the boys, her wife’s medical expenses and others.
The woman is unable to work due to her deteriorating health conditions and because they cannot afford a nanny or to send their boys to the nursery, she has to stay home and care for her two sons.
