The court ordered the man to serve the rape sentences concurrently but consecutively with the molest sentence.
The incident came to light when her colleague saw a message from the man in the victim’s handphone.
A police report had been lodged on Aug 27 this year and the man was arrested at 5pm on the said day.
The man was also jailed another four months for illegal entry.
After serving the jail terms, the man was ordered to be referred to the Immigration Department.
Earlier, Deputy Public Prosecutor Bryan Francis urged the court to impose a deterrent sentence on the grounds that the man had raped his own daughter whom he should have protected instead of raped.
