Loong issued the statement in response to the Supreme Court decision released Monday (Sept. 9) 2024 stressing the decision’s impact on the legitimacy and credibility of the BARMM as the representative entity of the Bangsamoro people.
“The exclusion of over a million people from the constituency of the Bangsamoro autonomous region undermines the fruits of years of negotiations under the peace process,” Loong stressed.
