Kota Kinabalu: A new court building is being planned in Laya-Laya, Tuaran under the 12th Malaysia Plan, according to Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform) M. Kulasegaran.

He said this development aimed to expand access to justice in the area by providing modern and comfortable facilities for the public, judges and lawyers.

“I am happy to learn that a new court building is being planned in Laya-Laya to expand access to justice in Tuaran,” said Kulasegaran during a working visit to the Tuaran Magistrate’s Court (TMC).

His visit aimed to inspect court facilities, engage with stakeholders and provide a platform for lawyers to discuss issues with the courts.
