Kota Kinabalu: Sabah-born singer Rey Guntabid will release his debut single titled “Lumangad Oku Dika” today (Friday).
Rey said it would be available for listening on all major streaming platforms across the globe.
ADVERTISEMENT “Lumangad Oku Dika, which means ‘I miss you’ in the Dusun language, is a song about a person who is deeply missing their significant other,” he said in a statement on Thursday.
“But since they are just friends and nothing more, it is hard to express feelings directly.”
These feelings, he said, are conveyed through the lyrics of the song.
“I am so excited to see how the people of Sabah are going to react to this single,” he said.
