MASIDI said the CGC could play a more significant role by providing the following:
- Financial Support and Guarantees: CGC can provide financial support and guarantee to MSMEs, ensuring they can access necessary funding.
- Training and Capacity Building: Developing joint programs with the Sabah Government and GLCs for training and capacity building of MSMEs.
- Improving Infrastructure: Collaborating to improve infrastructure that supports MSMEs.
- Promoting Sustainability Initiatives: Supporting sustainability initiatives to ensure MSMEs align with environmental goals.
- Advisory and Monitoring Services: Offering advisory and monitoring services to MSMEs to help them navigate challenges and seize opportunities.
