PUTATAN: At least two business operations in Sabah linked to Global Ikhwan Services and Business Holding (GISBH) – now being investigated by police in the peninsula on various allegations including sexual abuse of minors – have seen a 50 per cent drop following the controversy.

Ikhwan Restaurant which has been operating here since 2021 is struggling following claims that GISBH-linked eateries have been adding water used to soak the feet and beards of its leaders in their food.

The claims in social media followed raids by Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department on 20 charity homes in Selangor and Negeri Sembilan linked to GISBH.

The raids resulted in the rescue of 402 children and teenagers, some of whom were allegedly beaten or sodomised.
