BEAUFORT: Assistant Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Isnin Aliasnih urged students to remain grounded and grateful as they achieve success. 

Speaking at a ceremony where 60 Klias youths bound for university studies received contributions, Isnin emphasised the importance of acknowledging those who supported their educational journey, particularly parents and teachers.

The event, held at the Klias State Assemblyman’s Office, saw Isnin highlighting the government’s need for innovative and excellent students. 

He encouraged recipients to take advantage of future employment opportunities with government agencies that their education would unlock.

However, Isnin cautioned against complacency, stressing that distractions like entertainment could hinder academic progress. 

The Klias Assemblyman underscored that diligence in studies leads to success, while negligence results in missed opportunities and regret.

Expressing hope that the contributions would ease the students’ educational pursuits, Isnin congratulated the recipients, which included three sets of twins headed to UMS. 

The ceremony was also attended by local community leaders and officials, including Klias Community Development Leader Matjun Yunus Mathon and staff from the UPPM Klias office.
