Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Skills & Technology Centre (SSTC) and EPOMS Sdn Bhd entered a landmark partnership aimed at enhancing skills development and workforce readiness in the region.
Both organisations signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) to formalise their commitment to empowering individuals with the skills necessary to thrive in an ever-evolving job market.
The collaboration seeks to address the growing demand for skilled professionals across various sectors, ensuring that the workforce is equipped with the competencies needed for future challenges.
Through joint initiatives, training programmes, and resource sharing, SSTC and EPOMS aim to create a robust ecosystem that fosters innovation and supports career advancement for individuals in Sabah and beyond.
The LOI was signed by SSTC Director Natalie Fung and People Strategy of EPOMS Deputy CEO Muhamad Faizal bin Saidin.
SSTC, established in 2000, is a Skills Development Centre dedicated to offering training based on skills and technology, focusing on skill development for workers in the industrial sector, graduates and school leavers.
EPOMS, established in 2012, is a leading service provider specialising in operations and maintenance solutions throughout the entire oil and gas industry of the country, spanning from pre-production to post-production activities.
