Labuan oil and gas workers lament lack of flights
Labuan now has four daily flights to KL – two by MAS and another two by AirAsia, if there were no cancellations while the Labuan-KK sector is served by MasWings. - Bernama pic for illustration only.
LABUAN: Hundreds of oil industry workers are frustrated by the shortage of direct KL-KK-Labuan flights.  

An industry executive said activities at the ASB terminal was picking up and the demand for seats had increased in recent  weeks but the number of flights on the two sectors remained unchanged.

“These workers serving on offshore structures for two weeks without a break were missing  their families and eager to be back as soon as possible and also use the break to unwind from the weeks of job pressure. 

“But their reaching home is delayed due to flights shortage,” he said.
