KOTA KINABALU: Shell Malaysia has officially opened applications for its 2025 Scholarship Programme, inviting high-achieving students to pursue careers in the energy sector. 

The scholarship offers full financial support for pre-university A-levels at selected local boarding schools and undergraduate studies at top universities in the United Kingdom, United States, or Australia. 

Eligible applicants must be 2024 SPM or 2025 O-Level leavers with a minimum of 8As (A/A+) in SPM or equivalent O-Level grades (A*/A). 

The programme covers tuition fees, living expenses, books, and other allowances, contingent upon academic performance. 

Fields of study supported include engineering (mechanical, civil, chemical, petroleum, electrical and electronics, environmental, sustainable), sciences (geology, geosciences, geomatics, geophysics, data science), and commercial disciplines (business and management, digital marketing). 

Successful applicants will also benefit from mentoring and internship opportunities within Shell's operations. 

Applications must be submitted online by May 14, at 11.59pm. Applicants will be notified of selection results by the end of July 2025.
