Phoong briefed Pekestar members on the procedure and problems on getting a qualified aerodrome consultant in Kuala Lumpur to prepare and submit its report to Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) that oversees the height of all buildings around the Kota Kinabalu International Airport flight path.
It is fortunate that the Federal Minister in charge of CAAM, Anthony Loke, is the Secretary-General of DAP – the party boss of Phoong being the Minister of Transport.
