KOTA KINABALU: Sabah Umno and Barisan Nasional (BN) have welcomed the decision of top PH and BN leaders to strengthen cooperation for the 17th State Election.

Sabah Umno chief Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin said the alliance is focused not just on electoral victory, but on delivering a more stable and well-managed Sabah.

He said seat allocations and potential collaboration with like-minded parties will be carefully negotiated by both the state PH and BN leadership.

Sabah BN will fully mobilise its machinery with discipline and unity, committed to winning with integrity and genuine public support.

He added that Sabah Umno believes political power must be used with integrity and maturity, with a clear purpose to serve the people and build a better future.
