LABUAN: The inaugural Borneo Financial Conference here, attended by industry experts was described as timely and important given the disturbing background of rampant reports of unethical practices in the region.

Member of Parliament Datuk Suhaili Abdul Rahman said it reflects a collective commitment to address the increasing complex and evolving challenges of financial crime, not only in Malaysia but also across the region.

He noted that experts would share insights, strategies and innovative solutions to combat financial crimes effectively.
