The bronze medal positions were shared by Bangsal A and Bangsal B, with each team pocketing RM200.
The remaining four teams received consolation prizes of RM100 each for their participation in the competition.
Speaking at the finals, Maria pointed out the event’s role in promoting community unity through sports.
“This competition brings together all races in our district, strengthening bonds and providing healthy entertainment for villagers,” she said.
The event also created economic opportunities for local vendors who set up stalls throughout the tournament.
In a separate development, Maria said she has left PBRS and plans to contest in upcoming elections as an independent candidate.
