KOTA KINABALU: Datuk Nizam Abu Bakar Titingan has rejected a demand letter from Albert Tei, saying his statements were justified, made in the public interest and backed by public records.
Pointing to Tei’s corruption charges, fraud lawsuit and the MACC’s rejection of his whistleblower claim, Nizam’s lawyers argue Tei has no reputation to defend.
They say he will fully contest any legal action and file a counterclaim if necessary.
