KUCHING: Sarawak Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg (

Borneo Post reported.
He said amendments to Articles 1(2) and 160(2) had placed MA63 within the nation’s constitutional framework, making it clear that its principles cannot be dismissed.
Abang Johari stressed that Sarawak’s efforts to uphold MA63 are not a call for independence but a commitment to strengthening the Federation.
He said Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) continues to stand by its ‘Sarawak First’ principle while prioritising the state’s rights within Malaysia.
He also urged PBB Youth Armada to nurture future leaders who will safeguard the rights promised under MA63.
