KOTA KINABALU: Pakatan Harapan’s Api-Api candidate, Thonny Chee, thanked voters for their support despite not winning in the recent Sabah state election.
Securing the second-highest votes in a multi-cornered contest, Chee expressed full respect for the voters’ choice and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the community.
He will continue his work through the TC Initiative team, focusing on local welfare, economic development, governance monitoring, and community projects.
During a walkabout in Api-Api, Chee personally thanked residents, distributed supplies to the underprivileged, and emphasized that his mission to uplift the community remains unchanged.
Chee said the team will continue collaborating with government agencies, civil society groups, and the Pakatan Harapan government to improve public welfare, infrastructure, and the local economy, stressing that their dedication to the people will persist despite the election outcome.
