Coalition needed to prevent instability, says Aminah
PENAMPANG: Moyog Gagasan Rakyat deputy chief Datuk Aminah Ambrose (pic) defended the GRS government’s decision to partner with BN and PH, saying the coalition was needed to keep Sabah politically stable.

She said some supporters questioned the move but stressed the alliance was formed to prevent instability and ensure the State continued to function smoothly.

Aminah said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor had faced criticism over the decision yet remained calm as he worked to safeguard Sabah’s long-term interests.

She added that the appointment of former Sabah Law Society president Datuk Roger Chin reflected the government’s seriousness in upholding MA63 and protecting Sabah’s constitutional rights.
