Sejati Walk to be Sandakan's latest shopping destination

Sandakan: The Sejati Walk, Sandakan - the Sandakan Street Life Pedestrian Mall, a new project launched by Wah Mie Group, will be built at Mile 7, about four kilometres from Sandakan Airport.Its Managing Director Quek Siew Hau, who announced this, said Sejati Walk that will be built on 5.5 acres is an eco-friendly low-density pedestrian mall, well designed with natural ventilation and natural lighting, yet providing a high level of human comfort.

He said the strategic location of the Sejati Walk will also make it an ideal location for tourists to relax, recharge and shop as well as for local and Sandakan residents.

"The mall will become the absolute 'Airport Lounge' for travellers as well as going to be an eminent spot and tourists will flock to this prominent upcoming mall with its conspicuous presence and definitely be the cornerstone of Sandakan's shopping destination," he said in a press conference held in conjunction with the Sejati Walk's launch at Wisma Wah Mie, Lorong Indah Jaya 29, Jalan Lintas Selatan, Mile 4, here.

"With 341 units of store and in typical Sandakan street life concept, Sejati Walk is able to provide holistic hospitality to the community," he said, adding the proposed property will consist of green environmental concept featuring a 54 feet Broadway with big fan providing cool and breezy shopping experience. It also equipped with CCTV surveillance and alarm system in every lot."
