PETALING JAYA: An Orang Asal rights activist said the government should encourage the hardcore poor in Sabah, especially those in rural areas, to get involved in small-scale industries to help the community escape the poverty trap.
Kota Kinabalu: The hardcore poor in Sabah has dropped to 13,172 households as of last March 24 compared to 22,510 households three years ago, said Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
Kota Kinabalu: There are 18,853 hardcore poor in Sabah registered in e-Kasih as of October this year, said Assistant Rural Development Minister Datuk Seri Ruddy Awah.
