NABAWAN: A RM6 million fire and rescue station with quarters for officers and personnel will be built next year and expected to be completed in early 2022.
The groundbreaking ceremony for the station on a 1.41-hectare plot was held on Oct 26, officiated by Housing and Local Government Minister Zuraida Kamaruddin.

“The new station will cater to the needs of the local community,” she said, adding that the request to have it built was submitted by Assemblyman Datuk Bobbey Suan many years ago.
