Kota Kinabalu: Malaysia is not included included in the list of countries banned from entering the Philippines.
However, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Manila is reminding travelers to be vigilant and wary against individuals/groups issuing fake entry documents for a certain fee.

“We caution both foreigners and Filipinos entering the country against persons or groups reportedly issuing fake travel exemption letters and other immigration and health services ,” a statement from DFA said.
The agency’s warning comes after reports of individuals and groups charging foreigners fees for hoax documents and assistance.
