PAPAR: The Water Department is having raw and treated water at its Limbahau and Papar Emergency Water Supply Scheme (EWSS) plants tested to determine the reason for the stench detected in piped water in some parts of the district.

A department spokeswoman said water production at both plants was temporarily halted on Sunday, with activities at its EWSS facility coming to a stop from 3.30pm and those at its Limbahau one and a half hours later.
