These seven escaped Filipino detainees are still at large.
PAPAR: Police are on the search for seven remaining detainees – out of 14 Filipinos – who managed to escape the Kimanis Immigration Detention Centre, here, early Wednesday.
District Police Chief DSP Batholomew Ak Umpit said the incident occurred at about 3.30am when the 14, aged between 22 and 44, broke out of the detention centre.

“As of 10.45am today (Wednesday), seven of these individuals were found in various locations within a 2km radius of the detention centre.
“Seven others are still at large and we believe that they are still within the district,” he told a press conference at the Papar police headquarters.
