Clinic for every three Papar villages urged
Eye check-up, one of the services, carried out for Kg Kaiduan villagers.
PAPAR: Rural areas need a sustainable health care solution which can be best met by having a clinic serving every three villages in each district.

“This will alleviate the burden of villagers who currently have to travel to the congested clinic in Kinarut,” said lawyer Tengku Fuad Tengku Ahmad.

He said this was the predicament faced by villagers of Kg Kaiduan, Kg Bisuang and Kg Bolotikon.

“Over the past five decades, there has been a ‘disconnect’ between the needs pf rural communities, infrastructure development and healthcare,” he said.
