Sindumin, Lumadan to enhance ties

BEAUFORT: The Community Development Leader Unit (UPPM) of Sindumin and Lumadan will collaborate to enhance ties, said Sindumin PPM Sani Miasin.“As both Sindumin and Lumadan are under the Sipitang parliamentary constituency, this collaboration makes sense as it will benefit both State constituencies,” he stated.

Sani was speaking during a visit to UPPM Lumadan at Bandar Mingo recently.
He was welcomed and briefed by Lumadan PPM, Diuslin Agustine.
“For a start, there will be a sport meet or games like football, volleyball and sepak takraw to foster relations with our neighbor Lumadan,” he said.
He added that as two neighbours under the same parliamentary seat, it was only logical for them to have a good working relationship in a harmonious way.

He suggested that both Sipitang and Lumadan take turns to host the games.
“I am also happy and thankful that as a result of my visit today, my counterpart from Lumadan has agreed to collaborate or work together,” he said.
