More aid for national para swimmer Jaflee

Kota Kinabalu: National para swimmer Jaflee Jikol who is suffering from cancer received an additional RM2,000 from the Youth and Sports Ministry on Wednesday.
Minister Datuk Ellron Angin accompanied by his assistant Datuk Fairuz enddan, Permanent Secretary Datuk Mansur Asun and Sabah Sports Council Director Asneh Mohd Noor presented the cheque to Jaflee’s mother at Queen Elizabeth 1 Hospital where he is undergoing treatment.

The Ministry had earlier through Sabah Sports Council donated RM19,000 to his family to ease their financial burden.
The 21-year-old from Tongod was the bronze medallist at the Para Asean Games in Cambodia this year and also participated at the Citi Para Swimming World Series in Singapore in April.
Ellron also expressed his gratitude to the hospital staff for carrying out their duties to care for Jaflee.
